Girl Genius wins the Hugo for Best Graphic Novel!

Fellow Graphic Novel nominee Sandra Taylor (well, wife of nominee Howard Taylor) says it best, but Phil and Kaja were so sure that one of the more mainstream titles (distribution-wise) would win this newly-created category that they didn't even send an acceptance speech. I'll admit, I also thought the Power of Whedon would overwhelm all others, and that Y the Last Man, with graphic novel bookstore sales that dwarf Girl Genius's, would be the probable second runner.
