A quick sketch which wasn't so quick

rolanni asked for someone interested in doing a picture of a bat-winged horse. And since that's just the sort of thing I sketch in margins, and I wanted to take a break off doing homework, I zipped one out:

Then I tried to scan it using my hardly-used scanner, but the software wasn't being cooperative, and after about half an hour of struggle I just took a shot with my cell phone camera. I messed with the levels in Photoshop (because the cell phone pic was outrageously dark) and then - only then - learned that i have no idea how to put an image in a LiveJournal comment.
Hence, this post.
