Vashon joins the snow follies

While driving the kid the .75 miles to his school bus stop, I tested the road surface by taking a turn at almost normal speed instead of the careful crawl the beautiful powder snow would recommend. The startled look on the kid's face was even more worthwhile than the sideways slide that demonstrated - yes, very slick!

We both agreed that he should walk the last 200 feet of the journey, down the "easy to get down, might be hard to get up" hill.

I hear that the West Seattle Bridge is completely closed, so I'm super glad I went in and got so much done yesterday.
