We were treated to a brisk windstorm (but no trees fell), a Mid-West style deluge-of-rain storm and are now expecting several days of below freezing temperatures. In a place with steep hills, and no snowplows.

I'm just glad that we live on the top of the ridge, and not the bottom.

And that the power has stayed on.

And that I'm not delivering mail again until Saturday!
