I had a fabulous time at World Fantasy Con, selling many books at DreamHaven's booth and catching up with seemingly hundreds of people.

The last couple of days have been spent energetically clearing out the basement of my sister's place, where the shop had left behind some 1 or 2 thousand magazines. My efforts to find a buyer, or even someone who would haul them away, failed. So tomorrow morning I and my wonderful, long suffering mother-in-law are going to cart the whole pile over to the WindyCon hotel, to be distributed free to all attendees by whatever method the Powers That Be deem best.

I try hard not to think about how much all this stuff cost when I bought it.

Unfortunately, after dropping the goodies off, I will be leaving to catch a flight back to Seattle. No con for me . Maybe next year.
