For weeks it's been gray, vaguely rainy and a bit chilly.
Spring has been sidling in on all the edges anyway of course - crocuses have come and gone, cherry trees are blooming on the mainland (our's is always about a month later).
But the vast majority of today has been sunny with scudding clouds. The kid even managed to have his long-delayed bonfire out back.
And now we have some of the squishiest, bounciest hail I have ever seen. Over quickly, and settling back into gray and vaguely raining, but it was fun while it lasted.
