Dark, cold and rainy

The fall rains have finally arrived, about three weeks later than usual. It's cold enough to turn the furnace on, and yet not SO cold that I feel like I need to run up the heat just to battle the outside.

Schoolwork continues a-pace, with not as much getting done as it should, but a reasonable amount of progress none-the-less. Like so many people, I do more work, and often better work, when there's a deadline looming. Classes (and those deadlines) aren't until Oct 22nd, so there's an unwarranted feeling of having lots of time left.

Laundry, dishes and lunch have all seen progress.
Sorting, filing, and otherwise disposing of the large piles of cruft in my office has not.
