Months ago I bought an iPhone, a day or so after release. Overall it has been a wonderful choice. It's so much more than a cell phone with an mp3 player, and just that alone would have attracted me.
Probably because I do more with it, the battery doesn't stay charged anywhere near as long as my old cell phone did. Yet I can usually go a day or two between plugging in without problem.
This morning's weirdness: The iPhone was fully charged last night and yet is almost completely drained this morning - a state I haven't seen it in ever before. The warning text of "under 10% power" came up.
I plugged it in, and it how indicates it is charging, but 10 minutes later I don't see any improvement. Then the device freezes.
Now it's been about 40 minutes, and I guess the color bar may have moved over just a bit. I sure hope I get this charged back up - and prevent spurious discharges - before I need to fly off to New York tonight...
