Nov. 9th, 2006 04:02 amFinished my three weeks of Post Office Full Time (i.e.: hell) and had a delightful four days in Austin Texas selling books with Greg Ketter at the World Fantasy Con.
Monday was one of my worse days ever at the Post Office - a really exceptional amount of mail to case on a route I had barely learned. Even with help I didn't get back from delivering until 6:30 (5:00 is the deadline).
Tuesday was back to the airport, and a quick pleasant trip to the MidWest to help a friend with a load of paperwork and some home fixin'. As a bonus I'll be going to WindyCon this weekend, so I'll see a few of you fairly soon!
Oh, and dinner at Tokyo Marina on Wednesday, Nov 15.
