Writing about the things I should be doing (which I haven't done) has been depressing enough that I just don't post them.

Instead, let me say how much I enjoyed reading Terry Pratchett's next Tifffany Aching novel, Wintersmith, and how very grateful I am to the folks at Harper/Eon who still send me advance reading copies now and again.
