A New Toy!
May. 20th, 2004 05:45 pmYes, I've done a very rash, selfish thing ... using the cash from recent ebay auctions that should have gone to settling up some more Stars bills, or preparing for our move to Seattle, I have instead bought a brand new, shiny PowerBook G4!
I know darn well that it's more of a toy than a tool right now - there isn't anything I do on the computer that I get paid for, and the computers we have at home already are more than sufficient. But, but ... I really wanted it! And I can now start my long planned massive website update and restructure on something that can come with to upcoming conventions. And that has an operating system that programs will happily talk to. And, well, I'm sure I'll come up with some other, equally unsupportable arguments.
But it sure is nice.
